Tashkent, July 25 (Reporter) Eight people died due to a road collision in the Karakalpakstan Republic of Uzbekistan, local media reported, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Karakalpakstan. The accident occurred on the A-380 highway in the Republic of Karakalpakstan on Wednesday evening. A driver lost control of his car and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with another car. Both drivers and one passenger died on the spot. Five others died later in hospital.
