Dar Es Salaam, Apr 13 (Reporter) At least seven pupils were killed and four others injured on Friday morning when their school bus plunged into a flooded gorge in Tanzania's northern Arusha region, local police said Saturday. Awadhi Haji, a police commissioner for operations and training, told Xinhua via phone that the school bus ferrying the pupils to school plunged into the flooded gorge at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT) Friday. Haji said four pupils, a teacher and the driver were rescued and rushed to the hospital where their conditions were improving.
