Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has informed that as per the election schedule of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the process of filing nomination papers for the fourth phase has started from April 18. On Thursday, the first day of filing nomination papers for the fourth phase, 7 candidates submitted 12 nomination papers. Chief Electoral Officer Shri Rajan said that on the first day on April 18, 2 nomination papers were filed by 1 candidate in Lok Sabha constituency number-22 Ujjain (SC), 3 nomination papers by 2 candidates in number-23 Mandsaur, 2 nomination papers by one candidate in number-24 Ratlam (ST), 2 nomination papers by 2 candidates in number 26 Indore and 3 nomination papers were filed by 1 candidate in number 28 Khandwa. No nomination papers were filed by any candidate in the remaining Lok Sabha constituencies number-21 Dewas (SC), number-25 Dhar (ST) and number-27 Khargone (ST) of the fourth phase.
