Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has said that as per the election schedule of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the process of filing nomination papers for the third phase was completed today. On Friday, the last day of nomination papers for the third phase, 61 candidates submitted 99 nomination papers. In the third phase, a total of 223 nomination papers were filed by 144 candidates. Chief Electoral Officer Shri Rajan said that in the third phase, 25 nomination papers were submitted by 18 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 1 Morena, 19 nomination papers were submitted by 9 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 2 Bhind (SC), 32 nomination papers by 22 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. -3 Gwalior, 25 nomination papers by 17 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 4 Guna, 22 nomination papers by 14 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 5 Sagar, 23 nomination papers were filed by 19 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 18 Vidisha, 41 nomination papers were filed by 28 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 19 Bhopal and 35 nomination papers were filed by 16 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 20 Rajgarh. One nomination paper was filed by 1 candidate of Bahujan Samaj Party for Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 29 Betul (ST).
