Seoul, Feb 13 (Reporter) Six people went missing in a fishing boat fire that broke out in waters off southwestern South Korea on Thursday, according to Yonhap news agency. It was reported to the coast guard at around 8:39 a.m. local time (2339 GMT on Wednesday) that the 34-ton fishing vessel caught fire in waters off Buan County, about 200 km southwest of the capital Seoul. Among eleven people on board the ill-fated ship, five were rescued but six others remained unaccounted for. The coast guard dispatched 10 patrol boats to the scene and asked nearby ships for help.
