Sao Paulo, Jan 18 (Reporter) Six suspects were killed on Friday in a shootout with police in Ponta Grossa, a municipality in the southern Brazilian state of Parana, local authorities said. The gunfight occurred during a police raid to confiscate illegal weapons of a gang. The criminal organization was stockpiling weapons and planned to attack cash transport trucks and banks in small towns in the state of Parana, according to the police.
