Amritsar, Sep 10 (Reporter) Four persons of a family died and two others were injured in a blast in an illegal crackers manufacturing unit run from a rented home in Nangal village of Beas in Amritsar district, police said on Tuesday. Police and villagers said that a woman and her five sons were running this illegal crackers manufacturing unit from a rented home, which they had taken two months back from Kuldeep Kaur. Apparently, Kuldeep Kaur had no idea about the illegal unit. When the blast occurred, villagers assumed that it was a cylinder blast.
