Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has said that as per the election schedule of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the process of filing nomination papers for the fourth phase is going on. On Friday, the second day of filing nomination papers for the fourth phase, 4 candidates submitted 4 nomination papers. So far, 16 nomination papers have been filed by 11 candidates. Chief Electoral Officer Shri Rajan said that for the fourth phase, on the second day on April 19, one nomination was filed by one candidate in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 21 Dewas (SC), 2 nomination papers by 2 candidates in No. 26 Indore and in number-27 Khargone (ST) 1 nomination paper was filed by 1 candidate. No nomination paper was filed by any candidate today in the remaining Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies of the fourth phase No. 22 Ujjain (SC), No. 23 Mandsaur, No. 24 Ratlam (ST), No. 25 Dhar (ST) and No. 28 Khandwa.
