Singapore, May 20 (Reporter) All 30 people on board an Indonesian-registered vessel were rescued on Tuesday after it capsized in waters northeast of Pedra Branca, within Singapore's maritime search and rescue region, authorities said. In a statement, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore said the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Singapore received an alert at 7:20 a.m. local time (2320 GMT) on Monday from a Hong Kong-registered containership reporting the incident. The center coordinated the search and rescue operation, issuing navigational broadcasts to nearby vessels.
