Surajpur, Dec 4 (Reporter) Three persons were killed and two others seriously injured when their car collided with a pickup van in Chhattisgarh's Surajpur district late on Tuesday night, police said. The accident took place near Gotagwan under the Pratappur police station area on the Pratappur-Ambikapur road last night when four youths from Govardhanpur village were going to Ambikapur in a car. Just then, a pickup loaded with tomatoes collided with a car near Gotagwan going to Banaras. Three people died on the spot and two others were seriously injured. The injured have been shifted to Ambikapur after first aid at a local hospital. The deceased have been identified as Priyanshu Patel (24), son of Pratosh Patel; Deepak Patel (23), son of Mithlesh Patel; and Pushpendra Bhai Patel (21), son of Surendra Patel.
