Kabul, Jan 14 (Reporter) Three security personnel were injured after the security forces foiled attempts of a suicide bomber who wanted to target governor's office in west Afghanistan's Nimroz province on Sunday, a statement of the Ministry of Interior Affairs said.
"A suicide bomber was attempting to target the provincial governor office in Nimroz province today, but the security personnel identified and gunned him down before reaching his target," the statement asserted.
"Unfortunately, three security personnel were injured in the incident," the statement said.
This is the fourth blast in the war-torn Afghanistan over the past nine days, three of them in the national capital Kabul city.
