Jalandhar, Jan 23 (Reporter) Two unidentified youths die in a road accident near Goraya on Jalandhar-Ludhiana Highway late night on Monday. Police said on Tuesday two youths were going on a motorcycle when they were hit from behind by a speeding Mercedes car, due to which the bike caught fire and the bodies of both the youths got burnt. The speeding car dragged both the youths along with the bike for about 40 meters. Due to which they got badly injured and they did not have the courage to separate themselves from the motorcycle. Within no time, their bike caught fire. Instead of saving both of them, the car rider ran away from the spot. Police said Vicky, a bike riding youth coming from behind, separated the youths who were burning along with the bike and immediately informed the police. After which both of them were immediately taken to the civil hospital. The doctors declared both of them dead. Vicky, an eyewitness to the accident, told the police that he was riding on the bike at the time of the accident. The speed of the Mercedes car was very fast, due to which he could not control the car when the bike came forward.
