Jalandhar, Oct 8 (Reporter) The Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered bodies of two Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) of the police posted at Kapurthala police on Tuesday morning near the Khurdpur railway station under Adampur town of Punjab's Jalandhar district. The deceased have been identified as ASI Pritam Das and ASI Jeewan Lal. Their bodies were first seen by the station master of the Khurdpur railway station who informed the GRP SHO at Jalandhar. Officials said that the two slain policemen were chasing a minor, a suspect in a theft case, when they were last on duty.
