Chandigarh, Oct 3 (Reporter) Haryana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Pankaj Agarwal said on Thursday that 2.04 crore voters in the state will exercise their right to franchise in the 15th Haryana Legislative Assembly elections, scheduled on October five A total of 1,031 candidates are contesting in all 90 assembly constituencies, and 20,632 polling booths have been set up for voting, he informed. Agarwal further informed that out of 2.04 crore voters, 1.07 crore are men, 95.78 lakh women and 467 transgenders. He further said that there are 2.31 lakh voters above the age of 85 years, comprising 89,940 males and 1.41 lakh females. Additionally, there are 8,821 voters aged over 100, including 3,283 males and 5,538 females. The total number of service voters are 1.09l lakh, with 1.04 lakh males and 4,791 females.
