New Delhi, Jan 25 (Reporter) On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day on Sunday, 16 Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel have been awarded medals for their meritorious service. Among them, three officials will be conferred with the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, while 13 will be honoured with Medal for Meritorious Service, an ITBP statement said on Saturday. Those honoured with President’s Medal for Distinguished Service include Clay Khongsai, IG; Sanjay Kumar Kothari, DIG (GD) and Sudesh Kumar Rana, Second-in-Command (GD). Manu Maharaaj, DIG; Indu Bhushan Jha, DIG (GD); Chandan Singh Bhandari, Commandant (GD); Sanjay Kumar, Commandant (GD); Shobhan Singh Rana, Commandant (GD); Rambir Singh, Assistant Commandant (OL); Balak Ram Dogra, Assistant Commandant (Staff Officer); Gyanendra Kumar Bhardwaj, Inspector (CM); Krishan Chand, Inspector (GD); Satender Singh Rawat, Inspector (GD); Gharu Ram, Assistant Sub-Inspector (GD); Rakesh Negi, Assistant Sub-Inspector (GD) and Satish Kumar, Head Constable (GD) have been awarded with Medal for Meritorious Service.
