Patna, Mar 25 (Reporter) The Bihar government on Tuesday admitted that of the total 1 crore 769453 enrollments in the government schools, 12 percent were not linked with the Aadhar card and announced to link them within a month.
While replying to a question of Arun Shankar Prasad in the state assembly during the pre lunch sitting the Education Minister Sunil Kumar said that of the total enrollment in the Government schools , the enrollment of 1 crore 55 lakh 64 thousand 748 students have been linked with Aadhar whereas 21 lakh 29 thousand 805 students were still to be linked with their Aadhar card.
The Minister announced to link them with the Aadhar card within a month to provide them the benefits of various schemes running for their welfare.
Replying to another supplementary of Prasad, he said that there was some technical glitch in Aadhar card generation which has been resolved, and assured that he was personally monitoring it.
While replying to another question from BJP MLA Amrendra Pratap Singh the Minister said that Abha health cards of 6 lakh 90 thousand 45 children up to the age of 6 have been prepared following an amendment in the scheme made in February this year by the centre.
While raising his supplementary Singh said due to want of the Aadhar card of children up to the age of 6 their Abha health card was not being prepared and they were deprived of various schemes. He suggested to generate their Abha health card on the basis of the Aadhar card of their parents...////...
