An 11-member international delegation from the Philippines and Sri Lanka arrived at Bhopal late in the evening of May 5 to observe and study the entire process of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections-2024. Upon arrival of the international delegation in Bhopal, Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan warmly welcomed and felicitated all the members of the delegation at Hotel Jehanuma Palace with garlands and bouquets as per the Indian tradition. Simultaneously they were briefed about the Lok Sabha election process. Joint Chief Electoral Officer Shri Manoj Khatri received the delegation at Raja Bhoj Airport, Bhopal. On May 6 and 7, the members of the delegation will observe and study the preparations and voting process for the Lok Sabha elections. The delegation will remain in Bhopal till 8 May.
