Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the government is committed to the holistic development of sports and athletes. He emphasized that the state is advancing with true sportsmanship. Under the Fit India Movement, Madhya Pradesh’s first Fit India Club has been launched today. He. mentioned that this initiative is an essential part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for fitness and health. The creation of Fit India Clubs will spread positively across the state, reaching even the remotest villages, making both children and the elderly more aware of their health. CM Dr. Yadav added that sports have now been included as a subject in the curriculum, and students can pursue careers in this field as lecturers, assistant professors, or trainers. The government has enhanced the respect and recognition for sports and athletes in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the first phase inauguration and the foundation-laying ceremony of the second phase of the Fit India Club at Gautam Nagar. The event was also attended by Union Minister of Labour, Employment, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
