Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that the Union Budget has focused on enhancing various sectors, including infrastructure, panchayat, and rural development. He urged that work be carried out in alignment with the Union Budget provisions and emphasized the importance of leveraging these provisions for Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Yadav noted that development projects are underway in Bhopal and Indore as part of the Metropolitan City initiative and stressed the need for urban bodies to become self-reliant. He directed officers to approach their work with careful planning and commitment, incorporating innovations from other states. Dr. Yadav also called for efforts to reduce expenses and boost income. Speaking at the review meeting of the state budget in relation to the Union Budget at Samatva Bhavan, he emphasized the need for improved performance in public health, medical education, electricity, water, industry, and education. He instructed to promote natural and organic farming and to maximize funding from the Central Government for the Water Resources Department. The meeting was attended by ministers, Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, and senior officials.
